6. Transnational meeting in Prague
Prague | May 2019
Work is finished and the preparation of the final conference is culminating
The last transnational project meeting in mid-May brought partners in large number to Prague. All study materials had been completed and pilot testing successfully finished. The last important step was, therefore, to organize the final conference for broad public and present the results of our 3-year work.
For the last time in the Q3MEE project partners met in Prague. The 6th transnational meeting on the 21st and 22nd May was the consummation of our 3-year cooperation. The key part of the agenda was the training of presentations for the final conference that took place the other day.
Therefore, a kind of a rehearsal was performed in the rooms of COPTH Prague, the hosting partner. All partners presented their conference speeches on the project intellectual outputs and the job done since the project’s beginning. The goal was to manage the whole speech within 15 minutes. Most partners proved to be well prepared for the time limit which was accepted with gratitude. Given the fact that it was the last transnational meeting and the last chance for everybody to meet together, it was necessary to conclude all management and technical issues required for successful project completion.
The meeting’s program was traditionally enriched with an expert visit – this time to the faculty of electrical engineering of CVUT (Czech Technical University). The meeting would not be complete without a sight-seeing tour of the historical center of the world-famous metropolis of Prague.
As well as the rehearsal, the conference went all well too. Attendance was abundant. Representatives of secondary vocational schools (in some cases from quite distant places), electrical-engineering companies, The Association of Managers in Power Industry, The Union of Industry and Transport in the Czech Republic or The Ministry of Education Youth and Sports among others came to listen about the electric mobility and smart grids. Some schools have already expressed their interest in gaining the study materials. All the textbooks will be available for broad public after the project's end here on the webpage in the section Project outputs.
